In Stern Pinball’s The Walking Dead Remastered pinball game, players will battle walkers and survive key scenes from The Walking Dead in an immersive physical pinball experience like none other.  The development team, led by John Borg, the designer of the original game, have created a modern version of the original masterpiece.  The playfield features enhanced versions of the “Cell Block C” Prison building, bicycle girl ramp, and an interactive Well Walker toy.  The fan-favorite crossbow device that shoots a pinball has been re-engineered and updated for increased precision and flexibility in gameplay.  The game also features new RGB lighting and illuminated zombie heads on the slingshots.

Extra care and attention to detail have gone into every facet of The Walking Dead Remastered, honoring the original masterpiece by John Borg and Lyman F. Sheats, Jr. The game includes an updated version of the revolutionary ruleset that introduced a new mode structure and risk-reward elements that have stood the test of time. Through the iconic Prison, Well Walker, and Blood Bath multiballs and the depth of each Dead Feature mode (Barn, CDC, Riot, Tunnel, and Arena), players are immersed in a pinball battle that can ultimately leave a “Last Man Standing”… that is, if you’re able to survive the Horde and escape Terminus along your adventure.

Players will get to experience completely overhauled 3D-rendered graphics and custom animations that pay homage to the dot matrix display from the original  pinball machine. SPIKE 3 electronics also feature more efficient power handling, improved Wi-Fi support, and wireless headphone capabilities.  This release will also feature an updated cabinet lighting customization system designed to allow for internal and external expression lighting on all versions of the game.

In Stern Pinball’s King Kong: Myth of Terror Island pinball games, players join Ann Darrow, Jack Driscoll, and Karl Denham on their journey to the mysterious Terror Island, which results in King Kong traveling back to New York City with disastrous (and fun) consequences. Featuring innovative playfield design and iconic mechanisms from the creative team that brought players pinball mega hits such as JAWS, Godzilla, and Jurassic Park, players will experience King Kong in a whole new way.

Watch King Kong come to life while playing King Kong: Myth of Terror Island. A custom-sculpted King Kong will react to player action through a new animatronic animation system, swinging his arms and torso to assert his dominance. Summon him by hitting the custom sculpted Gong bash target, but beware, when pinballs are locked into a New York City train car, an agitated King Kong will destroy and flip it over to start King Kong multiball.

Encounter and escape danger as players enter “The Pit” on Terror Island. Guarded by a custom-sculpted giant spider, this area magnetically grabs and attacks the ball, so be prepared. Travel through dangerous terrain by exploring the thrilling helix-shaped Biplane ramp featuring a custom sculpted biplane toy in addition to a secret river ball path and river log diverter.

Thrilling gameplay features and challenges await players on this four-flipper adventure. Unlock the secrets of the Lost Temple four bank drop targets with a hidden standup target and navigate into the Kong Cave scoop and vertical up kicker.  Survive Kong’s punch-back kicking target, which launches balls back at the player. This pinball adventure highlights original animations, music, sounds, and speech, with original art brought to life by legendary pinball illustrators Kevin O’Connor, Greg Freres, and Jeremy Packer aka Zombie Yeti. Custom speech is provided by comedy legend Brian “Q” Quinn from Impractical Jokers fame, along with Rick Zieff, Peter Mackenzie, and Scott Mosenson.

Metallica Pinball was originally released in 2013 and is one of the most successful and beloved pinball games ever. Metallica Remastered has elevated the game to the modern era with gameplay, electronics, and presentation improvements. Metallica Remastered pinball games are available now in Premium and Limited Edition (LE) models, along with a full line of accessories available soon.

Metallica Remastered is updated with a full-color LCD display featuring all-new animations and live concert video footage. Stern’s modern Spike 2 electronics will power the gameplay experience.  Fans will enjoy expanded gameplay and improved presentation with 22 songs (8 more than the original) and expanded gameplay rules. Dramatic UV lighting effects have been implemented throughout the playfield and on Sparky, and the game includes numerous quality and durability refinements.

The iconic Lyman Sheats rule set has been carefully enhanced to add two new game modes based on Metallica’s two most recent albums, last year’s Grammy-winning 72 Seasons and 2016’s Hardwired…to Self-Destruct, as well as a new “Blackened” Wizard Mode. The Metallica Remastered software also includes numerous refinements throughout and an enhanced illuminated insert array to support the new game rules while preserving the classic gameplay feel from the original.

Metallica Remastered features an entirely new suite of presentation elements, including all video content and animations, new sound effects, and over 1,000 new speech calls that include callouts by the band. Eight new Metallica songs have been seamlessly integrated into the game and include new supporting animations, movies, and HD-quality live concert footage selected by the band. The Expression Lighting system for the cabinet and speakers comes standard with the Limited Edition version and is available as an accessory upgrade for Premium models.

Limited to 500 games globally, the highly collectible Limited Edition model includes the Expression Lighting System and Speaker Expression Lighting. Rudy is Back!!

Pedretti Gaming (Pedretti), in partnership with Planetary Pinball Supply Inc. (PPS), announces their first pinball machine, Funhouse Remake. Inspired by the original 1990 classic, Funhouse Remake combines the gameplay of the original machine with updated technology and reimagined artwork, creating an unforgettable pinball experience for players. Funhouse Remake machines are available in two models: Classic Edition and Midnight Limited Edition models.

Both models include a 21.5” XL LCD Display, playfield 4” LCD mini display, fully integrated RGB lightshows, and RGB target lights. Both models also include the original game code (1.0) and enhanced original game code (1.5). The enhanced original game code adds additional DMD display effects with new animation, extended settings and adjustments, a ball saver, and an auto-launcher.

The Classic Edition model features the original game artwork from the 1990 game.

Limited to 750 games globally, the Midnight Limited Edition model features a completely reimagined hand drawn art package by pinball artist, Brian Allen/Flyland Designs. This stunning package includes new playfield, cabinet decals, speaker panel, plastics, interior art blades, and translite art.
The Midnight Limited Edition model also includes 2.0 game code. The 2.0 code adds new graphics, new music and callouts, and new rules, multiballs & modes to extend the overall gameplay experience.
